Why did Kanye West depledge?
 

During my daily check at Hip Hop News I see:


What’s good about Kanye West? Now, this is a rumor, but we have been privy to hear that Mr. West has some bitterness toward college for different reasons other than the menial pay for a new graduate. We hear that he tried to pledge a certain frat and didn’t make it through the “rigorous” pledge process (aka a Black man rite of passage) and has had a certain, pointed anger toward Black “Greeks.” We also heard that Mr. West made a bad error on stage in Seattle. Last month, he had allegedly left a tour date in St. Louis the day before and then went to Seattle the next and said, “What’s up Detroit (or another wrong city)!?!” According to this rumor, the crowd proceeded to boo him and he replied “Why are you booing me? I’m Kanye West. I brought hip-hop back!” Anybody in Seattle can feel free to confirm or dispel this rumor. And Frat boys we def wanna know what Frat he tried to get in IF he actually did – HOLLA BACK, like AJ says! (Can somebody make an AJ Soundboard? PLEASE?)

Well as BGLOs don't have a formal "depledging" he was never a member of any "house." I can't see how he has bitterness towards Black Greeks as he is reportedly dating one ("my girl's a Delta so she been throwing up the Dynasty sign" from his through the wire song) and has a few songs dedicated to BGLO life.

But how can you say this about an artist who you have no clue who he is? :confused:

1) His CD is hot Tom. He will not just be some one album wonder or just get 15 minutes.

2) Get shot in ganster fueds? You know, I've tried to give you a chance...but now your ignorance shines thorugh once again. If you don't actually listen to the lyrics and/or disregard the cussing, then you're in no postion to ASSume such things.

Maybe you and Bill O'Reilly should talk......
