Ga High School showed porn during morning announcements
 

CHAMBLEE, Ga. - Some Chamblee High School students expecting to see the usual morning announcements instead glimpsed a hard-core prank Tuesday morning.


School administrators were trying to determine who swapped a pornographic videotape for the school announcements tape, sending the images out to several classrooms.


"Our children in our news class do a tape each morning of the Chamblee morning news, and they bring it to the media center, and our media center specialist puts it into the machine," said assistant principal Becky Chambers.


Before the program is broadcast, the media specialist leaves the media center and goes to the main office, to turn on an audio feed to two or three places in the high school that do not have closed-circuit televisions, Chambers said.


"In the seconds that it took her to walk out of her office and head up the hall, some student — we don't know who — took the tape out of the machine and inserted a very inappropriate tape," Chambers said.


"A couple of the classrooms — fortunately not all of them had it on — got a very inappropriate feed for a matter of some seconds before a teacher could fly up here and alert us and we could fly back down the hall and pull the tape out," she said.

Good for you kids, thats classic.

I would hold back the praise until we know exactly what type of porno was used. If its hairy women with farm animals, they should be punished. But if it features several teachers at the school, in a Friday evening orgy in the cafeteria, then high praise is in order for the students.

What if the teachers are hairy women? :p

What if they're doing it with a cow, and that cow becomes Monday's lunch special.:eek:

I think that's ridiculous. If they can determine who did it, they should receive appropriate punishment. Obviously, school is not the place for hard-core pornography to be viewed.

My Junior year in HS at Redlands Sr HS, Redlands CA :) something JUST as good was pulled. :) :)

At the beginning of the year, during a motivational movie shown to the whole school assembly, cut in the middle was about 3-4 minutes of some rather interesting stuff involving females and synthetic male parts :).

It was shown behind the school principal who was trying to give a "let's start the year off right" motivational speech. Needless to say, when that hit the screen, he thought he had really gotten through to us :) until he turned around..and almost fell over.

No way anyone was able to get to the projecter in time to stop it. This was in 1976, so the entertainment had to be spliced into the movie ahead of time. While I was not directly involved, I *do* know who was involved in such a dastardly deed. :) *cough* They were never apprehended :)

Something similar happened in the school at which I was the TV production teacher...but thank the gods it didn't happen when my class was in session!

Turns out, it was the TV technician flipping channels & came across some porn. It was only on for a flash.

The tech was not fired. I wish he was, from the first day of school. He made my life & the students' lives miserable, by overstepping his bounds. But he was such an ass-kisser, the principal loved him. Idiot principal was "forced" to retier early a year or so after I left.

But I digress.... ;)

Oh this is great! When I was in HS, I was in broadcast club and we always talked about doing something like that but it never happened.... :(

Anyway this is hilarious and would have greatly improved our morning announcements.

AND who in high school hasn't seen naked people already? Hello, in health class you see naked bodies and watch women give birth...

We were going to do this exact prank at my high school. My friends and I all took TV productions senior year, and one of my friends was switcher for the last announcments of the year. Another high school down county ended up doing it the week before us and there was talk of some harsh punishments, so we chickened out.
