The Downer Channel
 

Has anyone ever watched this show? It is a relatively new show on NBC.

It is a sketch comedy show, that features the lady who was always with Chris Rock (his show and movies). I think her name is Wanda Sikes(sp?) She is one of the voices for 1 800 CALL ATT. (The one with Bryan McKnight trips me out!) http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif

No I haven't seen this show yet. I have seen it advertised but have yet to catch it. But what I want to know is has anyone caught the show on The Comedy channel called That's My Bush? That show is so crazy and funny.

While flipping channels, it seems like I do more flipping than watching, when I am watching.

Anyway, I haven't really watched the show, but I have seen it in passing. That guy really DOES look like Dubya.

I'm sure it is funny, since it is on Comedy Central (the comedy network), is it?

I didn't get to see all of the Downer Channel, but from what I did see I figured that it is on it's way to a cancellation. I guess I missed all of the good parts because I thought it was the dumbest thing ever.
There is something in Wanda Sikes that I find so anti-comedy. Just my opinion.
kiml122, I love That's My Bush. It is so clever. it's from the writers of South Park and you know they are lunatics. If you like their work you should check out their movies Orgazmo and BaseketBall.

Actually, I never knew that the Downer Channel was even on television until about two weeks ago. I watched the first five minutes and I was LESS than impressed and quickly turned to the Style Network (it's always entertaining to me, except for Shabby Chic http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/frown.gif)

I loved Baseketball. It was incredibly stupid but it made me laugh. So, I guess it achieved its goal. Every comedy does not have to be intellectually stimulating. Sometimes I just want to laugh at something stupid. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif
