Hey guys - I was wondering what you all thought about our International Website...

To be perfectly honest with you, compared with other websites, I think ours just isn't that great AT ALL...

A lot of other fraternity websites are cleaner, easier, and have better uses of graphics...

Ours is just so bland and clumped...

Does anyone else think ours should be redesigned better with graphics and a lay out that's similar to other fraternity sites?

I.E. Sigma Chi, lambda chi alpha, Kappa Alpha Order, etc...
Their websites are pretty impressive...

I think the look before the current one was the best. Maybe IHQ should invest in a professional website designer to make our site. The only thing is thats alot of money that miht be used to help out a chapter in need. Guess it all depends on one's priorities.

Money should not be an issue. There is money is coming in with the Life Loyal Teke program. I think that would be a great place to take some from for the site.

Perhaps another idea would be to hold a contest for the best chapter website, the winner has a chance to re-do the international website.

Lastly, we should have quite a few alum that do web-design and could whip up something really nice for cheap or free.

No matter what I agree that it is time for a change.

I will solve the website problems once I win the lottery fellas. Until then, lets keep our heads up and hope for the best.

I'm a website designer. I can spiffy up a good website for TKE for cheap. And yes, I'll have to charge... freelancing web design is good money, but not enough work.. especially when you got dues, rent, bills, loans, tuition, and more recently, gas to pay for.

But I'd do it for way cheap. I know ofsome companies that charge like $5000 for a corporate website, and it looks like dirt. I'd do it for no more than $300 probably.

I'm well capable of doing it, and I agree with what was said in saying that the current TKE website is cluttered and unimpressive. I don't know where the hell to look for anything on there when I need it.

I love TKE... but I can't say the same about our website
