I think it's a fabolous idea. It will be very interesting to see how he'll direct the movie.

This is a great idea. Too many Bond movies, while fun, are just generic epsiodes of the franchise. Tarantino would create something really memorable. It would definitely have the best Bond sountrack ever.

I'm all for it. It would be so amazing having Tarantino and Bronson working together.

I agree, the soundtrack would be a bad ass. The dialogue would be interesting.

Especially if he worked in the few old Bond theme songs that were really good. Like the original theme songs, Live And Let Die and Nobody Does It Better.

Yeah. Especially if he casts Samuel L. Jackson as the new Black Bond (with a little dialogue help from Dave Chapelle.) I would pay double to see that movie.

" A view to a kill" is still the best bond song. and the only Bond song that went to number one on the billboard charts in 1985.

Samuel L. Jackson as Bond would be interesting. and maybe having Dave Chapelle as "Q" would make it more fun.

QT's gonna hafta have a VERY tough sell to Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson (the daughter and stepson of Albert R. 'Cubby' Broccoli), who currently run Albert R. Broccoli's Eon Productions, Ltd. If he becomes successful in doing so, it's gonna be quite a bit different than the action-packed and gadget-filled spectacles we're used to seeing Our Favorite Man With The Licence To Kill.

(From Russia, With Love and On Her Majesty's Secret Service are the two James Bond films that rely on 007's wits instead of gadgets to save the world from SPECTRE's evil designs.)

Of all the original Ian Fleming books that were made into films, only Thunderball and Casino Royale were not picked up by Broccoli and Harry Saltzman in 1961. The film rights to Casino Royale were sold by Ian Fleming in 1954 to Gregory Ratoff who later sold it to Charles K. Feldman. Feldman later made it into the 1967 spy-movie spoof of the same name.

Thunderball was in the middle of a lawsuit between Ian Fleming, Kevin McClory and Jack Whittingham over its authorship. (For details about the Thunderball case, go to http://www.ianfleming.org/mkkbb/maga...nside_tb.shtml)
