Pins, ADPi + Phi Mu similarities?
 

While browsing Ebay, I found this beautiful ADPi pin from our Alpha Delta chapter at Colby College (active 1915-1974),this. However, the item listed right below the pin was a Phi Mu pin, here.
I never knew that Phi Mu's badge had a clapsed hand on it too. Interesting similarity...

EDITED TO SAY: I looked more closely at www.phimu.org and realized their pin has a hand holding a heart, not clasped hands. Oops. Although they do share our love of lions (who'd win in a catfight, Alphie or Fidel? lol, jk).

I'm guessing that an Alphie could beat a Sir Fideles! ;)

The mascot thing is interesting because I remember hearing ADPi supposedly adopted the lion later on and that our first mascot was a unicorn. I wonder who adopted the lion first?
