On the phone with this guy I know. He starts talking about issues he's having with women. Out of nowhere he says

"I think I'm going to switch over"
"Switch what?"
"I'm going to start dating White women"
"Okay"
"You know with the high number of Black women with HIV/AIDS, it's just safer that way"

What would possess someone to say something so ignorant??

He was just being disgruntled probably lol . . I wouldn't take that too seriously.

Sounded like he was trying to push your buttons and didn't really mean it.

You should've told him that if it wasn't for certain black men living on the downlow, maybe there would be less women w/ aids.

Not at all, he was being serious. And I don't find it funny regardless of what he meant.

i agree! the reason black women are getting hiv/aids are because of these brothas who can't face reality!

Down right stupid and ignorant. His reason for dating white women are not only illogical, but it screams racism to me.

I don't need an excuse to date any man outside my race.

Well I say send a thank you card to the next white woman he dates because she is doing all Black women a favor. :rolleyes:
