Before You Crossed....
 

People always talk about how they are the livest/best organization here or there. They proceed to break down what they do for the school and community as a part of XYZ.

My question for you is this. What did you do in your school/community before you became a part of XYZ? How did you contribute to the world around you?

Good question. In the community I'm currently in I worked as a Big Sister, volunteered at the local library, organized depression screenings, read to kids, helped with can food drives, did a tiny bit of tutoring and helped out with MLK week activities.

In Texas I mentored, helped with fundraisers for the local HBCU, and helped organize activities for Black History month and Juneteenth.

Before I became a Delta, I was and still am a mentor in a program called "Rites of Passage". I'm also a "Class-Room Mom"...this means that I he with my son's class on certain days. And I help the children with community service projects!!!!!!!!
