Do you find it more attractive that someone is in a GLO?
 

I dont know if this is just me, but ever since I was initiated I think that girls in sororities are just a step above ordinary girls...There are specific sororities that I think are HOT and it makes me want those girls more, but in general I think that when a girl wears her letters there is NOTHING hotter...Am I the only person that feels this way? What is the girls opinion?

Its sort of pavlovian, but to this day, when I see certain combinations of letters, my eyes light up.

I'll second your emotion.. I love a hottie in letters. I think though, I'm attracted to that type of guy because he would have the same feelings towards GLOs as I did, versus a guy not in a GLO.

For instance.. my boyfriend is not Greek (he's very anti-greek actually) so, when I talk about my sisters, or what not, he doesn't understand.. but when I talk to this guy i have a little crush (nothing serious.. I think he's wicked cute..and sweet! :p ) about DZ, he completely understands, because he is Greek.

I dunno.. it doesn't make me like a guy LESS if he's not.. I just think its an added bonus :)

Definitely!! I feel they appreciate or at least understand my committment to my sorority. I also find that non-Greeks think that mixers and social events are all about hooking up with fraternity guys and have heard endless fights between sisters and boyfriends about mixers and stuffs as a result. I never got any complaints when my ex was in a fraternity cuz he knew what it was all about.

YES! No matter if it is local, IFC, or NPHC, I smile whenever I see letters. IMHO Greek guys tend to be more sociable, ambitious, and sophisticated than any other sub-group of college guys.

No.

I did when I was a new Greek freshman/sophomore looking for parties, but now I'd prefer it if they weren't.

Some members live and love their org from the moment they pledge til the moment they die, theyre active alumni and they're fabulius - god bless them.

Most members gradually grow out of the "honeymoon phase" of greek life where everything is perfect and we are obsessed and pefect members not only in our own org but the greek community as a whole. Being greek doesn't phase us anymore and it's not the pinnacle of our existance. of course we still love our orgs with all of our hearts, but there is so much else going on in the world to experience!

When you get into junior and senior year, i think youre at that point. Dating exclusively greek guys was a blast for 1.5 years... but there are tons of other fabulous men out there with or without letters, and i want them all :)

I don't find someone more attractive just because they are in a GLO, but I find it as common factor between us. It can start up a conversation and hopefully, they will understand my committment to my sorority if something were to progress between us.

I grew out of that and stopped believing that when we were banned from school and our charter was pulled. Thats when I realized how much of a bad ass my chapter really was.

Bryan, I totally used to think like this. Ask any old skool GCer about my infamous DG stories. A DG could have some stank puzzy and I'd still think it was the bomb. Most of my exes were DGs, I loved running through the house and knowing that my name was frequently used and caused problems within that chapter. I was horrible. In fact, 3 of my exes were all in the same chapter, from the same home town and went to the same high school but were each 1 year apart. And all of them had the bomb ass. It'd be so funny when I'd be out at a club with the current and one of the others would see me out with her. Try to imagine chicks from Ft. Lauderdale Florida who are light blondes, who are drunk off their asses, skinny and all three have bitchy personalities.....it was hilarious. I remember hearing stories of when they had chapter and the drama that would go on when they were all together...lol. ;) However, you will grow out of the whole "I really like banging greek chicks over non-greeks anyday" type of mentality. As you get older it fades away, but thats not to say you wont have dreams of DGs or any other sorority girls jumping up and down on a trampoline with their letters on their boobies.....some things just never go away. :cool:

Sort of. If they were Greek here, then hell no. Anywhere else, sure!

Fuckin sweet, love u man! Yeah, if the girls hot i'll go for her, but I like the accomplishment of getting a sorority girl and for some reason the letters are just hot...I tend to make my rounds with different sororites, i was on ZTA last year, went on to DZ, then now Sigma Kappa...If a girls in GLO or not and shes hot, then its over, but other than that why not....Oh, and i got some stories of girls in their letters, like chapter presidents, hahahahaha!

Nope. I look at who they are, not where they belong to.
