Annoyed at Former Employer

Ok, so I am moving to florida on Sat.. I have an interview with a really awesome company on monday afternoon. They want to see marketing pieces I designed when I worked for the PGA (back in 2001). I have since lost or damaged the disk that I had the stuff on and I requested to get copies from my former employer (like 2 employers ago! and I left on semi-good terms; i was laid off after 911, but not bitter) but they keep telling me they will send them or i can pick them up at their office, but they never follow through!
What should I do?

Go there when they open, pack a meal and tell themn you have nothing better to do than wait for it.

If these materials were in any sort of publications (ie, advertising campaign in magazine) try to locate back issues of the magazine (through library archives or ordering back issues from the publisher.)

A backup suggestion is recreate it the best you are able and label as "sample presentations" or "recreated presentations", as these will at least showcase and display your talent.
