Changes...for the better

I did a search, and I did not see a posting relating to this specific topic.

I really don't expect anyone to comment on this topic, I just want to share my experience with so many positive people.

The past two years of my life have not been easy, and now I know why I was not living my life right. I do not drink or smoke, or party excessively, but my spirit was not right.

Sometime during this summer, I can't pinpoint the exact time, but I decided to make a change for the better. I found that one can say they are not doing "Bad" things, but that still does not mean that you are living right.

I have made a life decision to let the LORD handle all aspects of my life. And I feel so much better about everything, I am happier, nicer, I feel better when I wake up in the morning.

I now know that it is the Lord who and not myself who made me who I am this day. I am a single mother of a beautiful 17 month old girl, who is maitaining a 3.7 gpa, with a double major, I volunteer as a dance instructor, and I am active at my school.
And I know that with him things will only continue to get better and stay better.

Like I said I don't expect response I just wanted to share my newfound happiness.

I just wanted to reply and encourage you.

You are pressing forth in a mighty way. Thanks for sharing your testimony. Someone needed to hear about Godly surrender and the blessings that come forth as a result of that level of obedience. Continue to walk in a way that pleases God above all else, and your path will continue to be bright.

I bless you in the name of Jesus and pray that you would prospereth in all things. Also, continue to live your testimony so that you would be a mighty example for your little one as well.

Be encouraged!

I feel you...

And I am happy to hear your recent realization of success!

I am enduring remarkably similar circumstances... I was just discussing this last night, but in a different format ( http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/.../002055-3.html )...

Isn't it a great feeling? BEING YOU, and knowing that you are doing a good job of it?

You can walk with a head held high, not so much because of pride, but because you have no reason to look down.
...consistently focusing on and steadfastly attaining personal enrichment and in turn delivering it to your family and peers.
When we realize that happiness and comfort will not necessarily co-exist, it makes life so much easier. We won't always be comfortable, but we should make sure we remain happy... That's life, love, and truth. That's God.
See, if you get me started, I will run all day... lemme stop. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif

But continue your blessed life... You have my applause and prayers!!! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif
