What happened to Fraternal News?

Has the Fraternal News group died?

Recent attempts to submit have been returned.

I got my email today, so I don't think so.

The fraternalnews group setting is "All messages require approval" meaning it's moderated (all messages have to be approved before they go onto the list, unless the owner has specifically changed your member setting to be able to post unmoderated).

Assuming you're not listed in the bouncing members list at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/frater...s?group=bounce (e.g. that group or another yahoogroup tried to send mail to your inbox and it was full) then the message may have been rejected by a moderator (if your email address is listed there you can probably reset it from that screen somewhere).

Note, if a mail is rejected by a moderator I think it would have the word reject in the subject line and possibly a comment in the email as to why. I'm guessing your posts were on topic though and thus not rejected.

Anyway, the group is still live so the problem was most likely either a misaddressed mail, the address is fraternalnews@yahoogroups.com or, a temporary Yahoo glitch. If none of the above assists and the problem continues, it's worth contacting the group owner at fraternalnews-owner@yahoogroups.com for assistance.

P.S Checked it & it is live with messages as recent as May 8th in the archives. : - )

Just noticed

Though for a long time there was a stickied thread on the top on this forum. It's not there now.

I've gone into Yahoo Hell

There's no explanation for the things Yahoo does.
