Lexington, Ky area GC'ers and GC Lurkers!


Mark your calendars… it is that time of year again! The Lexington Humane Society invites you to Sheabel’s 4 Mile 4 Paws on May 31 at Keeneland Race Course. The Run/Walk starts at 8:30 am and pre-registration costs are $18. Please log on to: www.lexingtonhumanesociety.org or www.sheabelpets.com .
Sign up a Team, bring your family and pets and support the Lexington Humane Society! Registration forms are on the Lexington Humane Society website. This is the main yearly fundraiser for the Leixngton Humane Society that helps keep our operation in business and to help neglected and abused animals.

It is on Memorial Day, but will be over in plenty of time for family gatherings and cookouts so if you live in the area please come out and support us!

I went "awwww!!" as soon as I saw the title of this thread!

Animal Friends here has a yearly "Mutt Strut" - it is also a fundraiser to help raise money for the shelter and the animals.

Good luck and I hope you have a huge turnout!

We also have another fundraiser comign up called the "Mutt Putt", it's a golf tourney that we put on to help us raise money for the shelter animals as well. I'll be working that one too! I'll put more details about it as they become available as well.

That is so SWEET. But we live far and i cant take out my cat....lol........ but what about volunteering for animal shelters or setting up a day when people can come in and play with them and possibily adopt them.......
