i have to guess, kaffir means someone who turned against god. but it is a muslim word, I know cuz some people called me a kaffir cuz i am "americanized"

In South Africa, that word is traditionally been used as a highly derogatory term to refer to persons of aboriginal African descent. It is at the same level as the N word.

Yup, I learned the word from the movie Lethal Weapon 2. And they say the cinema doesn't teach us anything :D
