Summer School AAAHHHH!
 

Okay I just want to know who else is catching the HEAT from summer school!?! Not only is the summer heat killing me but so are my classes! AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!

TotallyBlessed, I TOTALLY feel ya!!! I am taking 3, YES 3 summer school classes (2 4 week and 1 8 week), I am working full-time and getting married in 81 days!!! All of this because I am only taking 4 classes in the Fall,and I must grad on time! So,I am too BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!!!!!

Girrrrrrl. I could write an essay on my summer school troubles, but I guess I'll just pick this major thing to vent.

Okay.. we turned in these essays about a week ago and got them back today. My english prof hands back every paper except mine, and asks if he has my permission to read aloud to the class. He even goes so far as to say he wanted to photocopy it and hand it out as an example of what he expects. So why, oh WHY did I get a measly 81 on this paper??? I cannot WAIT for school to be over... for some reason this is worse than regular session - and having 8:00 class doesn't help. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/frown.gif

I'm takin two classes in addition to working full time. Talk about someone who's ready to burn out. I'm so tired half the time it's ridiculous. But it's good to get them out of the way now instead of having to work hard on them during the school year.

Chile, I hear ya on that one!!! And I had the nerve to enroll for both summer sessions two years in a row!!! You know that I despise summer. Where oh where is Mr. Jack Frost when you need him!!!
There's only one good point and that is all those chocolate men, sweatin' in those lil' wife beaters (why their called that-I dunno) or no shirt at all. Ladies I can't wait to get off work and stroll by West 4th Street somedays. Actin' like I'm going shoe shopping, knowin' I don't have a dime. But I did pick up some fabulous stillettos (sp) from ALDO.
Any who ladies in the NYC area, you understand what I mean about West 4th St. Yeah I know sometimes there are too many ghetto thugs there. However they can't spoil the thought of the business men stopping by to shoot some hoops after a long day at work. Humph! Athletic and employed, are 2 of my favorite things.

I am relating to the stress of summer school. I am also working full time (3rd shift, I might add) and taking a writing intensive African Religions class (Can we say a paper a week?) Oh well, the bright side is that I won't have to do it next semester. Good luck everybody with your classes!!

I'm registered for 6 credits this summer... it's not all that bad, it's a computer course so I'm in the room with the Air conditioning on... it can really get cold in there sometimes.... Burrrr!!!!!

Yes I do girl... I work near NYU and and believe me I spend much free time after work there. There is this diner I love there near 8th street that I frequent every weekend and I go just to see the freaks come out at night http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif

Diva are you speaking of the Waverly Diner on Waverly and 6 Avenue. It's one block away from W 8th. I like it because they are open very late. As a matter of fact is it a 24 hour diner.
FYI, please stay away from BBQ's on University and West 8th ... my girlfriend and I had dinner there after work a while ago... long story short...the pepper on my baked potato started moving. Needless to say they were baby roaches.....Ughhhhhh!!!

Exquizit I am feelin' you! I'm taking 12 hours this summer, working full time, AND volunteering. A sista is not getting a summer vacation AT ALL! But it's all gravy baby.
