So the new WB show coming up is a total parody of AI -- everyone is in on the big joke EXCEPT the contestants who really think that they have talent!!

I saw the commercials last night and about died laughing. You should see the look on their faces when the people who really can sing are told they are going home. I am going to love this!!

You know, as much as I feel bad about the good singers who are told to leave.....

Y'all (the people who think they can sing because they're a hit at the kareoke bar or don't realize singing along with theradio is horrible voice traning) deserve this...:D

maybe will hung will be a guest judge... :D

I hope they distribute this down here. They are showing American Idol down here.

Can you see him telling people with talent that they need to leave.

I am SOOO excited about this show - I think that it will be hilarious! Not as funny as starting a thread on AI at Fox about John Stevens having hair replacement surgery using hair from his feet, and now discovering that there are two toes growing off the back of his right ear....but funny none-the-less :D

It premieres tonight on the WB at 9pm - can't wait to see it!!!

I saw a small piece of this last night and I thought it was the saddest thing in the world. Yes, I looked forward to the American Idol auditions and the bad singers and yes, I laughed at some of the "performances", but I think that is a long way from setting someone up for such a big fall. Some of the contestants seemed so sincere.

That is beyond mean.

I've seen bits of this show.

It is very mean.

But these people actually think they are good. I mean are they tone deaf?

It's funny watching the judges trying to keep a straight face when they tell them they are wonderful.

But yes, it's beyond mean. I don't want to watch when they tell them it was all a big joke.

Of course, they'll tell the last no-talent standing that it was all a big joke, but that they still get a recording contract and a $100K advance. Some punchline.

Watched it last night -- there are some truly delusional people out there.

I think they should definitly get the $100K for the humilation they'll suffer (or not, but I would be really humiliated).

But a recording conract. They were just told they suck, who do they think is buying these albums. Unless the prize comes with some singing lessons.

i don't think it's mean because these people came and auditioned because they truly think they can sing well! they came and put themselves out there...it's not like they were just picked up off the street....so i have no pity. i love this show!

Nina Diva deserves to win so they can shoot her down. That ego is just ugh - reminds me of *someone* on the other show!!

I couldn't believe they booted Frank - he was so hot... lol!!!

I too think the judges are hysterical. And that Jaime - boy, does she deserve every second of what she is getting! Trying to play off the whole "look at my body" angle -- hubby called her "neck down" -- teeheehee
