I love it when a plan comes together
 

I got this email today from our High Gamma, thought i would share:

Q: Q: What fraternity is cool enough to have its University President and a
former Governor pose infront of their car bash?

A: The one and only Lambda Chi Alpha, Phi Delta Zeta. Dr. Hrabowski was
walking by with former Governor Marvin Mandel, and both donated money and
posed for a picture with brothers infront of the car. I'm getting them
developed this weekend at work....look for them soon!

yeah its awesome when you see something come together, setting something up is hard to accomplish but in the end when you see it happen it is well worth the effort

Objection - assumes facts not in evidence - assumes there was a plan!

Seriously, once in a while neat things happen. Twenty-two years ago, when I was the High Pi at the University of North Dakota, the Governor, Al Olsen, would drop by the house once in a while. He was a brother and it wasn't an unusual occurrance at all.

One time a photographer from the Grand Forks Herald shot a picture of me shaking hands with Bro. Olsen on the front steaps of the house. I was a First Lieutenant in the Air Force at the time and happened to have my uniform on in the photo. It is a long story, but I had some 'splainin' to do the next day when the photo was in the paper. A 1Lt is not suposed to be seen shaking hands with the Governor!
