Need Some Help for Memory Walk
 

I am in charge of organizing the Memory Walk for my chapter but I am clueless as to how to get started b/c the previous Foundation Chair left school already & left no notes or anything behind to help the next chair (me).
HELP!

Hi! Well, first off, you should figure out how many girls will be able to be ther ethe day of the walk. At my school, its mandatory so unless you have a good reason you HAVE to be there to help. We are like some of the co-sponsors here. After you do that, for the girls that cant be there, you should try to get them to raise money. Also, maybe you could come up with like fund-raising ideas with your commitee...I know its not much, but if I can help just let me know...

Any help would be greatly appreciated b/c morale is pretty low right now at my chapter and I'm sorry to say that the people on my committee are not fully committed right now due to other things going on in their life so it looks like I'm on my own.

You might contact your local alzheimers association chapter and speak with a memory walk coordinator or community liason. He/She might have some suggestions for organizing your team or for helping out on the day of the walk. Here is a link to the Los Angeles chapter:
