My goodness. Replace "muslims" with "jews, blacks, asians, catholics, etc" and you'd have a full scale riot at hand. As well it should. Ugh. Anyone who says we've made social progress is kidding him/herself.

Ha. Try saying "I'm carrying explosives in my suitcase" to Customs officials and then saying "Ah ha ha, just a joke, lighten up!" I heard a story about a lady that did that. She regretted it, I'm sure!
Moral of the story: There are things you just don't joke about. Everything else is fair game. |
what's scary isn't that this guy made the joke, what's scary is that people listen to his show

I commented on something else. You're trying to draw me into an argument that would be more difficult but I really don't care too much. 3) I take an issue with religions that want to dominate and convert others - either through word and, even more, through the sword. That isn't a problem of one group. -Rudey |

3) Sure there are some nutcases which seems to be the loudest. However, I can say that my people vast majority of my people, the Indonesian, do not want to dominate the world. We have our own problem to take care of. In case you don't believe me, read about the two most influentials person in the Islamic world within Indonesia, Abdurahman Wahid and Amien Rais. |

2) Admittedly, I don't know enough about Indonesia. My concerns and interests have never been with Muslims though but Arabs - which makes it an interest of culture, religion, and nationalism. -Rudey |

2) So, it's more of the Arab culture, and not the religion. I can understand that. Though, I would put the blame more on the leadership of the region for not only advocating, but trying to spread it. More in particular, the House of Saud. |
