how do i? -Ebay...

I bid on two items from the same seller about month ago. They were supposed to be shipped together.

I have contacted the seller multiple times only to receive one response from her about 2 weeks ago. She said she was sick and was in and out of the hospital. But told me she was going to ship out everything the following Monday. Like I said that was two weeks ago.

I know if she is sick and all, that shipping items isn't going to be easy. However, if she can't ship the item in due time, she she refund my money, right?

I can't get ahold of her now. How do I file a complaint with Ebay? I keep reading her feedback profile and people are "filing complaints to Ebay..." However all I can find about filing cases is for refunds for purchases over $25 (which mine was not.)

So am I out $20?

Check with kddani.

I'm not sure if it was also AOX81 who was experienced in eBay too?

I've bought a coupla things but am by no means knowledgeable in its inner workings.

Did you pay w/ a check? I know that you can stop payment on a check if she hasn't cashed it already. Assuming she has really been in & out of the hospital maybe she hasn't had time to cash your check.

Definately a mistake in letting it go to 30 days. How did you pay with paypal? With cash in your account transferred from your bank, or with a credit card?
if you paid via credit card you could do a chargeback- call your credit card company if so.

Have you called them? If not, pull their contact info from ebay and give them a call.

You can also file a nonperforming seller report with ebay. You may also want to open a SquareTrade case.
Go to http://pages.ebay.com/help/confidenc...rotection.html for links on how to do those things.

Out of curiousity, what's the item number?

If others are leaving bad feedback, she's probably trying to screw people.

Hell, if you felt like it, even though it's $20 bucks, you could file a complaint with her local police department- what she's doing is fraud. You may want to contact some of the other people she's screwed. If one person files a report for $20 with the police, they'll probably laugh, but the more people that do the more attention they'll pay.

If you want even more advice, post on the ebay discussion boards. But this should give you a good start.

Yeah... it was a money transfer from my checking account. I was reading around the fair trade stuff and i don't think i would have been able to apply for anything anyway because my purchase was for under $25. I mean... I'm out 24 bucks... i can live with that. I just want to get on her ass about it. leaving negative feedback isn't gonna do anything really. and her feedback is real sporadic... she has a lot of positives saying how fast of a shipper she is... guess i got a bad seed.

I have requested contact information and still waiting for that. if that doesn't help, I'll look into square trade.

thanks!

You might want to give your bank a call then. Not sure that they could do anything for you, but they might have some advice.

Good luck! Let me know how it turns out!

ETA: still make sure to file a Non Performing Seller report with ebay. Doesn't matter how much money it is. She gets a couple of those and she'll be kicked off of ebay.

I did. And I was able to file square trade claims... so hopefully it will get her butt moving. Also tried calling her... no response.

If you can't get ahold of her on the phone, report her account for invalid contact information. Within about 48 hours her account will be suspended. :)
