Small high schools
 

Who else went to a very small high school?

I graduated with 28 people!

40! We were an International Baccalaureate school, which explains that.

Funny, I have only spoken to about 5 since HS graduation.

I went to a small Independent school and graduated with a class of 37 but I hear now the school is big, we have classes of 50 now;)

Yeah 28 was one of the bigger graduating classes at my school. It's a really small rural Arkansas school where preschool-senior high are all on the same campus, and jr high/sr high are in the same building.

I went to a private school where my class size was 80. This is considered VERY small compared to the numbers in the area public schools.

I went to a pretty small high school - we had 400 grades 7-12, but I was in the "baby boom" class - I graduated with 90-some.

However, one of my friends from college was in a graduating class of 7 :)

I went to a small, private school that had Pre-K through 12th grade. There were only about 500 students in the entire school and my graduating class was 53.

I think I had about 450-500 people at my school, and I graduated with just over 100 ppl in my class.

I loved going to a small school. Although it seemed to get very "gossipy" at times, but it was a nice, comfy size. :)

Yeah, I agree. :) It was fun knowing everyone. The disadvantage though, was the lack of resources. Our library was horribly outdated. The band only had 10 members. The only sports teams were basketball and baseball/softball. Honestly, coming to ASU was a refreshing change.

My graduating class totaled 90 girls. From Junior Kindergarten to the 12th grade, Sacred Hearts Academy had an enrollment of 1000.

Seven years after I graduated I hear each senior class numbers approximately 120 girls.

I don't know where you are from...but we have a Sacred Heart here in Louisville, KY......But it is apart of other schools and they are together called Ursuline Campus.

Wow. How interesting! :) My school is located in Honolulu, HI and is part of the Society of Jesus and Mary, which is a part of the Marianst order (if I'm not mistaken). We hold the distinction of being one the oldest Catholic school for girls in the state! :D

I was lucky in that sense. My band had about 100 people total. We had all of the regular sports, which were all very well funded. Our community was very supportive.

I went to a small private school from 7th to 12th grades. There were 30 in my graduating class. That was bigger than previous years because another small private school in the area closed and several of their students enrolled at my school. My school was from K to 12 when I was there, but they started pre-K after I graduated.

There were about 425 in my high school and about 100 in my graduating class. And that was with a consolidation plan with a town about 15 minutes away.

Mr. ISUKappa graduated in a class of 30 and that was also in a consolidation plan!
