What's your issue???
If you had to choose just one issue affecting the community/world around you that you would stand behind and support fully and focus 100% of your energy on what would it be?
I'm not talking some time on this and some time on that. I mean ALL, every ounce of your community service essence is devoted to this one issue. What issue would you embrace? |
Registering folks to vote. I carry forms around with me everywhere. Anytime I go to a program given by a Black Organization I take them in with me. If I don't see any forms around I wait til question and answer and let them know that I have the forms with me.

Negative views about women and their value. And that's a worldwide crusade. But I'll be the first to help those around me deconstruct media images, perceptions, etc.

Giving Service To High Risk Youth
I would like to rehabilitate and give community restoration through offering “high-risk” youths information about substance abuse treatment, home centered education, job training and placement services, mentoring and tutorial enhancements.

Equal rights for sexual minorities.
|
Education, particularly combating these horrible, destructive attitudes that too many AfAms have about "keeping it real.":mad:

HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention in the Black community.

The breakdown of the black family and family values!

Getting more Minorities into institutions of higher education and providing them aid to keep them there.
