Sisterfriend Assistance

This is a question for Sisterfriends mainly, but Memberfriends are free to add their comments.

What do you do when you read a post by a Sisterfriend that just comes totally incorrect. I mean giving out all types of information, asking questions that can't be answered, bad attitudes. You name it..we've read it. Do you give advice? Do you shake your head in disgust? Do you wait for a memberfriend to address the post?

I try to send personal emails with the best advice I can provide.

What do you do?

If this subject has been posted, tell me the name of it...i tried searching but didn't find it. We can resurrect the old topic.

SOmetimes I will send an email explainging what's up with the way the post was. A lot of times I will just shake my head.

To be honest, I just mind my business. I know that is crazy, but there is a lesson learned in those experiences-- from the standpoint of the SF that made the mistake and the SF that is watching from the sidelines. A lesson I have learned, both ways.

I try not to shake my head or anything like that (although I find myself doing it), because my first few posts on GC left a little to be desired. I usually let a memberfriend correct it, because that's how I got checked, and it worked for me. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif I think it's okay for other SFs to send private emails - just as long as you don't call them out in the public forum.

I have seen so much nonsense come from the mouths of sisterfriends that my fingers would fall off if I tried to respond to all of them. I normally shake my head and let a member handle the situation. I'd rather learn from somebody else's mistake.

Thanks to all SFs out there who take the time to ATTEMPT to nurture, guide, aid, foster, lead the other SFs. This is a task that you all don't have to do.

Just today, someone emailed me a response a "SF" made to them. You all, I'm sure go through all kinds of unnecessary STUFF from females. I tell ya, I couldn't be me.

Anyway, keep up the good work. I'm sure your efforts will not go in vain. And your assistance will be rewarded ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. Good luck to all of you who lend a helping hand in REGULATING "behind the scenes."

To those of you (SFs) who are too CONVINCED, you're in for a rude awakening. Shame, shame, shame on some of you...

NOTE: ***Don't come on the board and front for information, then when a SF tries to give it to you, you act an @#$. If you don't want their help, tell them NO THANK YOU and MOVE ON!

That is the SISTERLY thing to do, right? That is what you are striving for, right?

That's it...Carry on! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif
