In This Thread, We Admire The Word Hoot
 

Hoot is a good word. Word that is good is hoot. Why is hoot a good word? It is because it is the hootiest word. The hootiest word is hoot by far. So, we all can agree that hoot is a good word.

I like the word "hoot" because it is not only a verb; it is also a noun! Now, how many words can make that claim?

Also, I like the fact that there are two o's right next to each other. You wouldn't think that is very significant, but take away one of those o's and you get "hot", an entirely different word!

Plus, hoot is a great rhyming word!

Isn't it interesting, though, that you would *think* "hoot" and "foot" would rhyme but they don't???? Weird...

You can take the two adjacent "o"'s and make a little smiley face.
