Should mostly quarters playing fraternities be integrated with beer pong players?
hey guys,
i learned how to play quarters in a fraternity. I think quarters is the greatest game ever. I mean, i'm sure there are fraternities out there that are strictly beer pong frats, but to each their own. I mean, we'd like to have the beer pong guys come out, but they mostly stick with their beer pong frats. I mean, we wouldn't NOT give them a bid just cuz they're beer pong guys, but they just don't seem interested in us. I think all frats should be comprised of representative numbers of quarters players and beer pong players. Even though i was born and bred on quarters and that's what i know best. Kitso KS 361 matches of quarters the president and i won as members of Team NO FUN in the World Quarters Tournament |
I'm sure you're attempting to draw an analogy.

What about us girls who can play quarters????? :p :D :p

girls that can play quarters can join sororities for quarter playing girls. girls that prefer beer pong can join the beer pong sororities. in my ideal Greek Life office, there is a niche for everyone's favorite recreational activitiy. Kitso KS 361 times i'd still beat ya, ma'am ;) |

I can tell. ;) |
please don't discriminate against flippy cup playing orgs!! ;)
|
What about those chapters who have mastered the art of Anchor Man?
|
look, look, we can all come to the table under the banner of Greek unity.
See you people are getting off track already. Next thing i'm going to be hearing about how quarters orgs are discriminating against those with carpel tunnel syndrome, then we'll have a pre-med and pre-law student come in here to debate the nomenclature of specific tendons and muscles in the human wrist. the SOLE question here IS, should we quarter players accept the beer pong kids into our orgs? i say YES. Now, I may get flamed for this...but
I believe in strict SEGREGATION of Flip Cup Orgs Beer Pong Orgs Quaters Org and Cards Org We tried to intergrate it, and it was just plain MESSY!!! The balls bouncing every distracted the card players, flip cup is just plain sticky, and the waste of the quaters?? I have no idea what anchor man is...so i'll just leave them alone and say they are not cool enough for a category |

That way when you're on campus and challenged by a Beer ponger, if you're a metal-bouncer you can say, My org IS diverse, we've got a ponger, a flipper and 2 carders. They get really good grades and are really well spoken. Kitso KS 361 times leave it to a NORTHERNER to bring up segregation of the recreational activities :) ETA: Dang, i have to go to the gym now, don't ya'll go gettin my thread deleted |
Quarters is sooooo much better than beer pong...BUT
@sshole is soooo much better than Quarters! Okay, we've mentioned pongers and flippers and carders, and of course noone knows what the heck Anchor Man is, but what about hand-eye coordinated drinking games? I think those are far superior because it takes skill to be able to keep the rhythm going after a few drinks.... |
Due to my lack of knowledge on teh current terminology, this one my fit in a category already listed, but there are also those of us who prefer rolling the quarter off of our nose........
|
Part of the pled... ahem... new member education program should really be teaching the mysteries of Cardinal Puff! :D
|
Once again everyone forgets the caps players, we are a minority, but our game takes years of practice and skill, and for this we are discriminated against by the majority beer pong and quarters players.
Damn the man. |
