I am so excited to report this.

Delta Gamma has 5 Alphas right now!!!!!!!!

Their special advisor wants them to do FR.

I'm seriously cried when I read the email from one of the sisters letting me know this. I am so happy and so proud of them.

I don't think ADPi can deal with another chapter closing so if anyone would like their address along with the presidents name please feel free to pm or email me.

I just received another email letting me know that DG actually has 6 Alphas!!!!!!!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I spoke to the District 6 Team Leader this weekend at Founders Day and Delta Gamma will DEFINATELY be participating in FR!!!!!!!!

I guess the girls received a new skit and have already given out parts and begun rehearsal.

I am so excited for my DG girls!!!!!

Another "Little Chapter That Could"!!!

Congratulations to Delta Gamma, and good luck with FR!!!!

I'll be pulling for DG nonstop for the rest of this year and when FR rolls around....I know that they can do an OUTSTANDING job! :)

This gets me thinking- we all pulled together so well to get a brick for Gamma Upsilon- what can we do for Delta Gamma chapter for FR?

Brianna, you probably know best- what would help them the most? Can we all sponsor a dinner for them (send $$ for pizza or sub sandwich during FR?) or something else? Writing letters would be appreciated as well, I'm sure.

Can we get the ol' GC spirit moving again to spread our ADPi sparkle to DG chapter?

I have some motivational signs here I'll send to them from my alumnae association. They can hang them around the house during Spirit Week.

I think writing them letters and sending them cards is always a great idea.

Since school is only in for about another two weeks, you could send them to the house, otherwise you can send them to me and I can just put them in a box or plastic box to keep them safe until August.

I will email a sister from the chapter and get her ideas and thoughts. As soon as I hear back from her I will post what she suggests here.

Brianna, do you know when FR starts next year? Maybe cards just prior to FR, with some money for pizza or whatever, would do the trick!

School will probably start August 23rd, so with that in mind here will be their most likely schedule:

(okay, I'm basing these guesses off when I went down to help in 1998, when I email Courtney I will see if she knows the exact days for rush)

Girls who are in the skit will probably move into the house (or all the girls will considering there are only about 35 actives now) around August 15th. August 16-18th will probably be spirit days.

Set One: August 19th and 20th
Set Two: August 21st
Set Three (skit day): August 22nd
Pref Night: August 23rd
Bid Day: August 24th

Once I get more "accurate" information I will post, but the days will be something very similiar to what I just typed.
