IDEAL TOUR???
 

What's up my fellow Greeks? The summer is here, and all the tours are starting. What I want to know is what is your ideal world tour. This assuming your ideal tour hasn't already come to fruition. So here goes mine. Given that these four ladies have been burning through my CD player for the last year, I'd have to pick a mega, female, neo-soul tour with Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Alecia Keyes, and India.Arie. I'd choose that line-up you just mentioned.

My own line-up would include:

Maxwell, Bilal, Musiq, Will Downing, Brian Mcknight and Kurt Wheilum

Hmm, I'd have two, because I'm feeling two types of music right now. But they would be in the same weekend.

Day One: Talib Kweli, Dead Prez, Mos Def, Common, The Roots, Guru, and De La Soul.

Day two: Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Alicia Keys, Maxwell, Musiq, Bilal, FB & Mase, D'Angelo, Angie Stone, and India Arie

I'm trying to be at AKA2D's tour.. I loooooove me some Will Downing - every album.

Well you two...that love Will Downing... should have been at Regionals with me (South Atlantic)...we had a concert with him...

It was really great!!

All Male Revue: Maxwell, Eric Benet, Jesse, and Rashaan Patterson.

All Female Revue: Mary J., Faith Evans, Jill Scott, Angie Stone, and Sandra St. Victor.

Smoothed Out Tour: Sade, Will Downing, George Benson, Miki Howard, Paul Hardcastle, and Marion Meadows.

Funky Monkey Tour: Teena Marie, EWF, Chaka Khan, Gap Band, and Parilment.

Bad Day At Black Rock Tour: Prince and Lenny K.

I have to say, though, I left somebody out. On Day One, I'd also have to have Macy Gray, because she has some hot tracks with some of those HipHop artists.

Mary J. Blige, Jill Scott, India Arie, Musiq, New Edition, Al Green, Stevie Wonder, Patti LaBelle, and the Isley Brothers.

I would spend my whole paycheck to see this concert, well not the whole check. But, I'd spend a pretty penny to see all of them on one stage what a show. Especially, Miss Patti LaBelle, she puts on a great show.

Mine would be Puffy, Nelli, Outkast, and fo da ladies, Jill.

You might be in luck http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif This morning I heard on the radio that when Jill Scott's tour goes through Michigan. All of the above ladies are suppose to perform with maybe the exception of one but I think it was all four.

Actually Bilal and Rashaan Patterson wouldn't be bad as opening acts...

For female artists, I know y'all love to hate, but Whitney Houston, along with Aretha Franklin, Patti LaBelle, Gladys Knight and the Supremes would just about do it for me.
