Sigma Chi House Severely Damaged by Fire - Indiana U of Pennsylvania
 

The Associated Press reports that a fire has severely damaged the Sigma Chi house at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Luckily most of the brothers were away for the Easter weekend, and two who were at the house called 911 and got out without injury.

The fire probably was due to a boiler. The article reports that Sigma Chi and the insurance adjusters will analyze whether to repair or build a new house -- so it sounds very destructive.

I would expect that the university's Greek community and Sigma Chi alumni will be rallying to help.

Thank goodness they had smoke detectors and nobody was injured. Things can be replaced.
