Cleaning improves a woman's sex drive?
CLEAN & DIRTY Apr 10 2004
Housework puts women in mood for love By Pete Samson THE cleanest women around the house are the dirtiest in the bedroom, according to a new survey. Those who spend most time doing chores have the highest sex drive, say researchers. More than half who devote 10 hours a week or more to cleaning want sex at least once a day. And those who pitch in for 15 hours a week are even more demanding between the freshly-ironed sheets. Women who hire a cleaner are the least amorous - with around 75 per cent having sex less than once a week. The survey, carried out among 20 to 40-year-olds for homecare firm Minky, found housework seems to put women in the mood for love. for full article see http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/allnews...name_page.html |

Lies, I tell you, LIES!!!!!!!!!!!
Unless they took this survey in Nazi Germany, it's all bullpucky!! What man is attracted to a woman with the smell of Clorox on her hands? Does lint on a woman's hair look particularly attractive to men? Or is it the exhausted air about a woman who spent the day cleaning which men find so alluring? Lies!!!! |
amen, honey.
and lord only knows what that cleaning solution residue on our hands could do to a man's "special" areas. that would teach him! |

Maybe the smell of Clorox is an aphrodisiac for the woman. I think that the smell of licorice is an aphrodisiac for men.
I don't think that I have ever cleaned fifteen hours a month, let alone a week. |
The ladies at work who do the cleaning at night always have messed up looks on their faces...now I understand why. They want sex.

I must be the exception to the rule!!

I'm reporting all of you naysayers to John Ashcroft!

You have to be suspicious about the results of a study done by a "homecare firm" because they're not going to be terribly objective -- and the assertion that wanting sex is the result of cleaning is stupid anyway -- any idiot knows that correlation does not imply causation. |

Living Room: vaccuum, dust, pick up stuff and put it away Dining room: wipe down table with disinfectant, vaccuum, dust Bedroom(s): vaccuum, change linens, dust Kitchen: wash dishes or run dishwasher, scrub sink, clean refridgerator, clean stovetop, clean oven (well, maybe once a month for that), wash floors, clean microwave, clean toaster Bathroom: scrub tub and shower, clean toilet, wash floors, scrub sinks, clean mirrors And that's just the stuff I can think of off the top of my head - I'm sure there's a lot more. I don't think an average of 2 hours a day on housework is too outrageous, it just sounds like a lot when you add it all up. And then,.... the bigger your house the more that there is that needs to be done. I love to clean... it makes me feel happy and refreshed. I guess I've never paid attention to whether I'm more "amorous" after cleaning, but it wouldn't suprise me. Who wants to get busy in a dirty house? |

I think you'd be suprised! That stuff *can* be done faster, but if you want to get it done well, you've got to invest the time!
Plus, it's not like you're doing JUST that... I mean I'm normally making dinner, reading mail, doing laundry, all kinds of stuff at the same time as cleaning, so it probably goes slower :) |
Maybe it's because these women have nothing better to do than clean and feel entitled to sex after a day with Clorox.
ALSO: When my sorority does spring cleaning (everything in the house, seriously, top to bottom) we get it done with about 15 girls in two hours max. That's 30 hours to deep clean an ENTIRE house, so I don't know how you could possibly do 15 hours a week every week. |
