GreekChat.com Forums - My new Car!!! (dial-up's enter w/ caution!)

So....not last Monday, but the Monday before I was in a car accident. My boyfriend was driving my car (as he often does) and a car (facing the opposite direction as we were going) made a blind left turn across our lane. There was no way around it and we hit him. He's totally at fault since he should have yeilded to on-coming traffic (he's even more stupid since he turned when he admittedly couldn't see due to another car blocking his vision). Well, they called my old 1997 Mazda Protege a total loss since the air bags alone would be $3000 to replace. They gave me a check for $5000. Well, my dad decided to go ahead and get me a new car for graduation (long story short - my mom always wanted to get me a new car for graduation - but when she died, I got her car - the Protege - and there was no need for me to get a new one...but since the Protege is dead now, my dad said he wanted to honor my mom's wishes)...soooooo after several days of intense car shopping and test driving, this is what I got - a 2004 Mazda3. I LOVE IT!!
