http://www.deere.com/en_US/careers/index.html -select Job Search, then select Commercial and Consumer Division - I would hit "Search selected" to see the biggest list. There are also some engineering jobs. Others - feel free to post your leads/links here! |

Hi Sisters!
Here are two links for the federal government. One is the general government and the other is the Smithsonian Institution (where I work :) All the musuems in on the DC Mall and National Zoo as well as some other musuems around the country). Federal Government http://www.usajobs.opm.gov/ Smithsonian http://www.sihr.si.edu/ Some hints/comments about federal jobs: *Don't get frusterated! It takes a long time to get a federal job, so keep applying. They have so many rules/processes they have to go through...I'm still waiting to hear from resume's I submitted over a year ago! My current job took me 10 months from the time I submitted my application packet to when I started. Just keep applying! *KSA's: each application will ask for job specific knowledge, skills, abilities (KSA's). These are what they use to figure out your pay grade- you want to be as specific as possible! Do each one on a seperate sheet and answer the question completely. Even if it sounds like something you just answered. Different people get each KSA question to read- therefore they don't know what you put on other ones! *Read each vacency carefully: some you need your diploma by the closing date, others you may just need experience (this is a lot in animal health technicians), therefore you can apply now and note that you're getting your diploma in May 2005 (for example). If you have any questions don't hesisate to PM me or contact me :) GOOD LUCK! Shelley |
