Phi Sig Familes
 

I thought I would ask if phi sig families are important in your chapter. . . You know your little and then their little and so on. I am at the top of my family here. I think there are 10 of us now. We call ourselves the Stellar Mafia and we are getting sweatshirts made with our family pattern, our family name, and then whatever else we want to put on it. Half of us have them already. We have about 2 family dinners each semester where we get together, eat, and show the newer girls what our family is all about. It is really great becasue it gives us a special time to hang out with people that we may not get to see all the time. I love my phi sig family. They are so great.

SO, my question is, do families in your chapters do this too?

We have families at Iota Gamma...

Mine is the Cheetah Family. We get together when we can. And are trying to get everyone together to go away for a weekend. Get a chance to have some sisterhood within the family.

i had written a long email explaining everything - but hte computer messed up...

simply put: no

in my chapter, a majority of the house is in the attitude family, theres also ghetto fam, loudest fam, power fam, feisty fam..

Hey I love the sound of your chapter they seem to be loads of fun. What other interesting things do you do. Most of the girls in my family have similar attitudes and body types.

Our families include Pink Ladies, Pearls of the Pacific, and Stellar Mafia... I think some of the smaller ones haven't really chosen names...

In the Theta Sigma chapter we have families but the names for them seemed to have faded away before I came along. I'm currently at the top of my family

We Do that.

Even though, I'm an alum now.. I still wear my ARMY Fam Letters. we are the first fam in my chapter to do that and it was my Aunt's Idea ( my big's Twin). I think that's so cute that other chapters do that, too..

Iota Alpha has families too. We have the turtles (that's me), frogs, panda bears, and leopards. For my turtles' birthdays I gave them t-shirts that have a cute little turtle on it. I found them at Aeropostale.

I like the idea of family outings. I think we will have to try that. I am SSS chair this year and I thought a fun sisterhood would be to invite our alumnae and make family trees.
