What will this mean: Australian Research Fertilizes Eggs Without Sperm
Greetings ladies. What are your thoughts on this. Australian researchers believe they have found a way to fertilize eggs using other parts of the body than sperm. The procedure worked effectively on mice, and they are confident that it will work in humans. Some are saying it provides new hope for infertile couples, which I believe is a true and good thing. But come on, if this really happens, you know the can of worms it will open. women will begin having babies without a man at all, a child will have no father. This is not natural at all. Do you think that science has gone too far on this one. My answer to this question is a resounding yes.

I totally agree with you Elevated1. I think that some scientists are more concerned with playing God than with actual medical advancement. I wish the millions of dollars that they spent on experiments like this went to something usefull like AIDS or Cancer research.

You're preaching the truth....
Science means knowledge. It has nothing to do with application. In other words, they really don't care what the uses of any scientific knowledge is. All they really want to know is, can they do it. Its sad because every time they do something bizarre or far-out they try to sell it to the most vulnerable members of the public so that the real motives behind it are obsured and they can speed up any regulatory procedures by the government. What does this research mean? Jesus is coming. |
