Who is M.O.P?

M.O.P stands for Mash Out Posse, they are a rap group that usually hang out with Gangstarr (Guru and DJ Premier). High energy type of brothers..but I believe the song you are referring to is different they actually sampled that song and used it as the hook for their song. I cant remembr the lady who sings it though..someody help me. Just adding my hip-hop 2 cents worth!!!

If you're talking about who the sample came from- it's not a lady. The sample is from a Foreigner song called "Cold as Ice". Foreigner is an all male rock band, yes you know who they are. Remember "I want to know what love is", well that's them.

It is soooo funny, but I heard that very song on Good Day New York this morning when they were doing the weather forcast. Mind you it is NOT cold as ice here.
