Good News!

My boyfriend pinned me tonight!! :)

It's not really a big-deal thing here at W&L... we were single sex for so long that none of the fraternities here really participate in selecting sweethearts, lavaliering, pinning, etc. So it was very casual and very much a surprise. It was sweet.

heheehe ive been dating my bf for a year and 7 months...

isnt pinning like a step before marriage? hehe thats funny to think about since we've been dating appx the same time as you 2.. (although my bf isnt in a frat)

does that mean you can wear his letters now? i dont think people do that here, at least ive never seen/heard of it being done

I thought that lavaliering meant seriously dating, pinning was like pre engagement.
I got lavaliered by a teke about a month ago.
