Is anyone else going to be a summer camp counselor this summer?

I am going into my 4th year.. this year I am working with kindergarten aged kids.. Yipeee!!! :p

I will be going to YoungLife camp in Michigan for 10 days with my highschool kids i work with! I am so excited!

ALSFRose and BlazerCheer will be camp counselors again this year at private camps..their sisters will be counselors at Girl Scout camp.

Kickapoo Kamp in Kerrville, TX. This will be my 10 summer. I am a bit older than most of you posting on this thread!!! I went to this camp as a camper for 5 years and then went back and haven't stopped since. I was a riding counselor, head of riding and for the past 5 years have been the program director and in charge of it all!! I love all of my camp experiences and wouldn't trade my summers for anything. Enjoy your summer!

I am on full time staff at Zephyr Baptist Encampment. I have worked there the entire year (weekend retreats, stuff like that) and this summer will be my third. I run the ropes course and sometimes lifeguard. Fun times.

My youngest brother was a YL camp worker. It's where he met his to-be fianceé. She's a Chi-O as well (originally at Furman, transferred to Oklahoma University). She'll be working at the Colorado YL camp this summer.

I've done two summers at the Aloha camps in Vermont. I think they are amazing... it's like being paid to have fun... it really doesn't get any better.

I met some people from an Aloha camp in VT last summer. I worked at a Girl Scout Camp in VT.. :D

Ooo! Where in VT? I know VT and NH are just covered in camps- and it's so beautiful out there, that it's really no suprise!

My brother has counseled at Aloha for 4 years, and I have for 2. I'd go back, if it wasn't for the fact that I need money so I have to keep my "real" job this summer.

The one on lake Fairlee.. I worked right down the "road" in Thetford, VT :)
