Kings Dominion: Who's Going, Who's Been?
 

If you have not already guessed...it is Spring time, which means Step Show, Greek picnics, and College Days at Theme Parks!

On that note The 6th Annual BET Black College Weekend at Kings Dominion is on April 10, 2004. Tickets are $40, and will not be sold at the park, you have to get them from a participating school.

I've went every year since 1999. Tickets go up every year (when I first went tics were like $19.50, I believe) It has it's ups and downs.

Ups:
The park is closed for the day, and only open for those with tics
Kings Dominion is always fun
Lines move pretty well
Step Show is entertaining
Concert is pretty good especially cause it's free with actually good artists

Downs:
Traffic
Park closes at 8
Rides shut down at about 7
Stupid folk
Parkin is NOT free
You cant bring a camera to the concert...they search u before u come in

If you're gonna go....get there at a decent hour. Dont try to show up on CP time thinkin you'll get a good parking, or that you'll get tics for the concert (cause theyre first come first serve).

Whoever goes let me know how it went....cause I don't think I'll be attending this year.

I never went because when I was at Howard it was always the weekend of this thing we had to do in the Business Program. That was my old major. It was required...so i couldn't go. Now i'm in nashville and i know i wont have the money to get up there.
