I got word from Shannon that we are able to charter!!! We should get our charter by next week. I am verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry excited!!! I feel that since I pledged late (as a junior) I am getting to live out more of my "D*Phi*E experience" now. I'm so happy to have found so many great women who are a part of this as well.

We are having our "chartering dinner" on Monday night 6/28 at Casa Bella in Little Italy. It should be fun:D Deepher alums are great. One of my alumnae sisters has recently set me up with her cousin. It's still very new but got to love the sisterhood connections LOL.

Hey ladies. I really want to do a lot this fall to let new (and old;) ) alumnae know we are in existence. I think many sisters know we are "out there" but for whatever reasons, just have not been able to make it to an event. If you local sisters can spread the word to your alumnae, I would appreciate it. I even wouldn't mind coming to a meeting prior to sisters graduating to inform everyone how great it is to be involved again as an alumnae!!!! Thanks girls!!!!!:D :D :D

Woo Hoo! National's contacted me today for some info to write an article about our AA for the next Triad. This is exactly what we need, more PR!!!! In a city of millions, I always say, I am surprised more alumnae haven't come out of the wood-work. Tonite is our "New Member Social" at Pizzeria Uno in the West Village. I spoke to an alumna from Syracuse the other day and she is planning to stop by with one of her sisters. I love meeting new Deephers :D
