Dexterity Experiment
While sitting at your desk in your chair, lift your RIGHT foot off the floor and make clockwise circles with it. Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your right hand. Your foot will change direction and there's nothing you can do about it.
So could you keep your foot moving the same way? |
Crap.
I couldn't do it. My foot went the other way. |
I hate this trick. It is creepy!!!!!!

My computer has a mirrored closet just to the right of it... I tried this while looking in the mirror and you can do it... but it takes a lot of concentration.
Kind of reminds me of when I was a kid and I could rub my belly and pat my head at the same time, but my brother couldn't do it and it always made him mad... lol |
waaaa i didn't like that! lol:p
|
dang...works on the left foot too.
maybe i was thinking too hard. |
I could do it. You kind of have to separate them like when you play a drum set. I played drums in HS jazz band (wasn't really that good though, I'm a fiddle player first) -- kind of a similar thing to playing one beat with your hands while beating out another with your foot.

No! My foot went the other way!

My foot went the other way too.

Well...I have had some major brain traumas so maybe that helped me. Try going a little faster and exaggerating.
|
I levitated.

Hahaha!! Love you! :D |
At our bible study for young adults last Thursday, we all tried doing this (this was a group of about 10 of us)....and NONE of us could do it (well, except for one person, who only did it once and I was the only one to see her do it). The rest of us couldn't, but it was a great stress reliever, too :D
|
i had some students try it...worked like a charm even when they tried to stop it, still happened.
|
I did it. wasn't too hard.
