lost my grandfather, but i'm okay
 

Hi everyone, I figured I would post news that my grandfather passed away on late sunday/early monday. It was the end of a really long illness, and I am kinda sad, but more relieved that his suffering is over. I took yesterday afternoon off from work to just make sure my mind was right. But I went back today and I am fine.

Please keep my mother and grandmother in your thoughts. I only knew my grandfather for a few short years (comparatively) but my mom lost her stepfather and my grandma lost her husband.

Thanks in advance for your prayers (if you do that) or just your thoughts and good vibes.

Sometimes we feel a mix of emotions when we lose a loved one. You mention sadness, relief and acceptance. I have prayed for you, your mother and grandmother, that, as time goes by, you all will find a place of peace regarding your grandfathers passing.
