Funniest ADPi Memories?

Okay, so I was reading in the Rush Forum about some of our funny memories at different important parts of our sisterhood (taking the roundabout way of saying things, but if you're really curious, just check out the last page of the thread on "Funny Reasons You May Have Been Cut"). Anyways, I was curious about some of your funniest memories with the sisterhood.

Let's share a good laugh or two :D

Gee, I wonder how many of these stories could actually be told on an Internet Message Board? :D

Actually, I do have a funny one that will take a while to tell properly, so I'll do it from home!

Well, I guess I can start with one of *my* personal favorites :D

During a particular ceremony for New Members, I, as acting guard, realized that we didn't have the new member pins set out. So I'm quickly working on getting the pins out while the President is running though the ceremony. Well, she reaches back, thinking that I had the pins ready to hand to her, and she accidently grabs me in the *bum*. I jump, and the other sisters are sitting there laughing (quietly, as the ceremony was still going on). Luckily, the new members didn't realize what had happened until after the ceremony was completed and we all started cracking up before explaining it to them :)

Okay, it was during December finals, and we were pretty much all in various states of dis-attire - robes, coveralls, etc. We would set a coffee urn full of hot water up at the beginning of Reading Week, and everyone stopped by for coffee, tea, cocoa, and any cookies or such people sent us. Oh, our Suite was on the top floor (10), and in the lobby of each dorm was a large (about 36"x60") portrait of whomever the Hall was named for - in our case, Miss Amos.

The Tri-Sigs had stolen the painting of Miss Amos and had her in their suite (6), and in a fit of Final-itis, a few of the ADPi's stole Miss Amos from the Tri-Sigs, leaving a ransom note saying that we'll return Miss Amos if they bring us Chancellor Holland (another dorm, portrait the same size). We hung the portrait of Miss Amos over the sofa in the informal living room (taking down a hooked rug copy of our Crest), and taped a paper ADPi pin on her & a party hat to make her feel at home.

We were all studying and/or drinking coffee when two policemen showed up. The one in front barked at me (sitting directly under the painting!), "Have you seen a stolen painting?" I batted my eyes and said, "Painting? What painting?" He said, "Chancellor Holland was stolen, and the elevator showed that the perps came up to 10." I said, "Chancellor Holland? Haven't seen him. Would you like some coffee, Sir?" The other policeman behind him just stared at Miss Amos. They refused the coffee, insisted that the elevator came to 10, while I explained that it ALWAYS showed 10, as the laundry room was upstairs. They left, unhappily.

Down came Miss Holland! Under a bed! Back up went the Crest! We all sat back down when the same policemen came back up and started the whole line of questioning again. The one in the rear stared at the Crest, scratching his head. We insisted that we did NOT know anything about Chancellor Holland, so they brought the attendant from Holland Hall over, with his description: One was tall, the other was short. Doh! We all had to put our coats on, and had a "line up". Just because this was SOO silly, we took pictures to commemorate the silliness.

It all ended up with about 9 policemen having coffee & cookies with us while both Chancellor Holland and Miss Amos were returned to their rightful places!

Okay my memory occured when I was a freshman. I think I had just been initiated.
Anyways our philanthropy at the time for RMH was Legendary Legs. We were getting frat boys to let us take pictures of their legs then a table would be on the mall and the student body could vote (via money) who had the best legs or the worst legs.
Well we had to get the frats involved and we went to a house (I can't remember the name for the life of me) and seranaded them.
There was this so hot guy there and I'm just staring. He was gorgeous.
Well Nima, our EVP, states that the winner will win two tickets to a given destination.
She tells them that they could take one of their brothers with them.
Well me, not really paying attention, blurts out "or you could take one of us".
The room busts up laughing. All the frat guys, my sisters and I'm ready to die.
I was embarrassed. It's one of those moments where you want the earth to suck you up whole. I felt so retarded.
So there's my story. Hell I'm laughing at myself. :)

I have another one, but it involves my diamond sister, and I think I'll get her on here to tell the story, because she tells it so much better :D

Ok... so my story was entertaining, at least in my mind... We were having a video scavenger hunt... Each pride had a list and we needed to take pictures of every item on the list... The first back with a complete list done was the winner... Well one of the items on the list was to get a picture of a guy from a specific fraternity (I really don't remember which one it was)... Well this shouldn't be too hard, because all of greek life lives in one res hall... Well my pride heads over to their wing... and no one seems to be there at all... We finally find that there are a few in some rooms that wouldn't come out... One room our best guess was having activities that aren't permitted by the university in a res hall... So ever pride avoided trying to get them to answer... The room where my pride finally found one, he was in the shower... We actually got him to come out wraped in a towel and get in the picture with us... That picture ended up being posted in our wing for weeks...

I like the one on ritual that Killarney Rose started, too!

I have so many funny stories, but I'm trying to decide which to share!
