I did a search for an accessories website thread and didn't see one.

I ordered a Louis Vuitton bag from this site and it is beautiful!
My hairdresser told me about it.

they have the multicolor too, and there is not a 4 month waiting list. I ordered a Spring 2004 one today. But the multi-colors are not pictured, but you can email them and place an order. I emailed my order with the style and color and they said they will ship within 2 weeks. They may not be authentic but the quality is indistinguishable from what I can see. And I ain't paying $1000 for a REAL LV sorry!;)

you know, some of the fake ones look better than the real ones. I was told that when the fake one begins to age is when the truth comes out:)

On some of the fashion and accessory boards I belong to, the mere mention of a faux designer bag gets hoots and hollers of derision. I usually don't join in because it's not really my business.

I'm not a LV owner. If I do become one, though, I'll save the $480 or so and get a genuine Speedy. But I'm not going to clown somebody because they have a fake.

On the other hand, I have four Hermes Birkin replicas, not fakes. I refer to them as replicas because there's no indicia saying "Hermes Paris Made in France" on them. And I don't mind replica Hermes because who has $6K at minimum to spend on a handbag?

Hmmmmm. I have always wondered what the REAL difference between a high end fake (they are rated on some sort of AAA system) and the designer original.

Lawd knows I would LOVE to have an LV Alma, but that is price level (around $800) not in the funds anymore for a handbag :( (I work for a non-profit, unlike my previous employer that afforded me my Fendi Mama Zucca :D ).

...they have the Dior saddle bags which are gorgeous (I will treat myself one day...maybe my birthday). Also, eBay usually has authentic Dior saddle bags that are significantly cheaper (often pre-owned though). I never really liked LV too much. I'm a Coach girl myself...they're a lot more reasonably priced than most designer bags and they always keep up with the season trends.

Ebay is great I got a REAL Coach and a LV on there. I took my LV to the store in the Galleria and had it authenticated I would try Ebay.

One of the Vernis Collection. It is so pretty. It is a beautiful hot pink. I will be rocking it at Boule! The straps are real leather and the bag is leather too! Now they have free shipping for April. My whole chapter is ordering the Vernis Reade Petit for Boule! In hot pink of course. :D

Um, I don't see how you had your bag authenticated. Most LV boutiques will not even give you the time of day if you walk into a store asking them to authenticate. That raises a big red flag.
I would be careful with that! I just walk into a LV boutique and ask to see a model that I bought to compare.

One more thing, I called and told me that they have FENDI, GUCCI, PRADA, CHRISTIAN DIOR AND HERMES TOO! But for those you have to know the name of the style you want and they will give you the information...

I am probably going to the eastern caribbean this summer - i know that st. thomas and st. martin both have discounted stores (compared to us prices). does anyone know if they have LV bags over there and for how much?

I sometimes checkout consignment shops for deals and this lady told me Beyonce just unloaded alot of bags. So I browsed through them. This was a reputable boutique but I thought I would go and check the LV store first so I would know what to look for. I went to the LV store in Houston Galleria a few weeks ago and the salesman told me to buy the bag if they have a guarantee on authencity and if I was unsure if it was real, he would be happy to check it out for me. Most high end stores will not give you information over the phone, but if you come in the store you shouldn't have a problem.
