According to Robbins, nasty rituals some pledges must endure include "boob rating" (older sorority sisters arrange topless pledges in order of breast size), being branded on the hips with lit cigarettes and "circle the fat" (nude pledges are inspected by assembled sisters, or, sometimes, frat brothers, who circle any fat or cellulite on their bodies with black markers.) And you thought the Marines were tough.

The sororities in my school were boring compare to these girls.

You know, I heard and saw some stuff that today is called hazing (and rightfully so), but I am always amazed that any one organization would so terrorize its pre-initiated members! Like amazed that the storyteller is so creative. Although, you guys have some pretty creative twists for this story, too! ;)

The stuff I experienced was so fun and great. We did fun stuff.

Also- Most sports teams in College have a harsher hazing then the rumors that circulate about the sororities. However, no one ever complains or brands the group

That was discussed in "Wrongs of Passage" by Nuwer, published in 1999. Not original research on her part (unless she specifically witnessed this after 1999).
