If you could pick one or more things that you are known or notorious for, what would it/they be?

My CLAIM to FAME

At my undergrad, I represented my department club at the coronation. I took forever to proceed down the stairs for my presentation. There we like 40 narrow stairsteps. The crowd was giggling a bit. But I would continue to proceed elegantly (plus, I didn't want to fall in my formal gown). It was definitely a night that has/will be remembered by those in attendance. The walk should have taken about 30 seconds. But my escort and I made it more like 2 minutes.

MY CLAIM TO FAME...
Being the only African American student to be student body vice president, cheerleader, drama/theatre club secretary, dance troupe member, the head of the BSU Black History Month assembly, and on prom court in high school all during my senior year. I am Notorious for falling down/tripping/twisting ankles, etc....maybe I have bad coordination or something...lol...but it is quite hilarious to witness, particularly when I fall down in flats...I remember back in undergrad trying to get to class and walking behind a slow azz couple so I walked in front of them, well as soon as I did that my legs just gave out and I fell...of course I wasn't hurt, just embarrassed so I pretended I was hurt and made the guy walk me to my class..lol

In high school, I was known for my dancing ability, and my intelligence.
In college I had tried to downplay my dancing ability, only using it for community service projects, (teaching dances for free, free lessons or performances). Now in college I am still known for my intelligence, the fact that I am a go-getter
everyone knows if they need something, done fast and right, to come to me. I am known for being the first REAL FEMALE Sports Writer, I am now the first FEMALE Sports Editor.

My CLAIM to FAME would be that I was the only Black varsity cheerleader in H.S. for 4 years straight! And not to toot my own horn, but I was da bomb! I had a mean toe touch hehe http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/cool.gif

I feel you on those toe touches-it took hours and hours of practice to perfect mine! And since I was a flyer/stuntperson, that was even more risk.

I'm not proud of this, but I'm NOTORIOUS for "CLOWNING"! Well some people call it "clowning", personally I call it sticking up for myself, and not being walked on. You know how some sales clerks would not acknowledge you in the store, but run over to the white woman. Well I call her out, ask for the manager(who's usually her friend), I report her/him, then follow up with a letter to the district office. Received a many complitary pass, discount pass, for being outspoken. When someone have their crying baby in the movie theatre and refuse to leave, and I paid $10 to get in, I'm going to get the usher. If a cab passes me, without a NOT IN SERVICE sign displayed, I'm taking down that number and calling. When my mailman constantly walks across my grass, after I've repeatedly asked him not too, I'm calling up. Oh I got a long list!

Can I just peep in for a sec and say SFs PLEASE DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR "PERSONAL" INFO!!!!(i.e. School) Unless you simply don't mind someone (members) knowing exactly who you are!!! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/confused.gif

1. Choreographing dances for absolutely no reason and then teaching them to my friends. Why? I have no idea, but it's fun when you're bored, and it gives us something cute to do at parties. -Being the last one to catch on to "jokes." Esp. when they aren't funny, or I am the butt of the joke
-Never "getting out" of the house (I don't club, hang out, chill, take it easy and kick it downtown)
-Being socially "bi-polar"... I can be straight silly one second, but in those moments when I want/need to be "down to bizness" I can be a unequivocal lets-get-this-done-right-now-No-bullshy**in'-bia-bia.

-Being there in the trenches for my peeps, very rarely faltering. I can take on whatever you need me to, with pleasure.
-Getting the jobs done, in excess. I will do what you need me to, if at all possible, in excess.
-Being an over-achiever, and busting buttocks to get to where I want to be. I am a true Capricorn.
-and I am d*mn, loyal... So loyal sometimes that it hurts me.
-I will try all sorts of measures to get a job done... even when I am not altogether sure of what the heck I am doing... I like to give my people faith in something tangible: "Yes this can be done, I'm not sure if I can do it, but if I can't somebody can. God is on our side, we will finish the job, I will help you."

Shout-out to all the former cheerleaders up in here! Just know, I can still do a mean toe touch! My 15 yr. old niece is always so amazed!

I am definately notorious for jacking up the lyrics to songs and making funny faces when people are talking to me.

My claim to fame would have to be my laugh. It's very loud!

I am notorious for being extremely silly at times!! I also have a VERY smart a$$ mouth. Anyone that knows me well will tell you that I am no where near as quiet as most people may think I am. I don't talk that much, but if I am around one of my good friends, there is no telling what will come out of my mouth!!
