Founding of Specific Chapters

Can anyone please tell me if there is a way to find out when my particular chapter of Sigma Kappa was installed at my school and by whom? I want to update my chapters website with our local history but I don't know where to get it.
Thanks for any info.

I have a copy of Sigma Kappa history at home. If you want, tell me which chapter you're with and I can look it up. I can't get to it until Monday, though. Also, the book only covers history until the mid 50s, so if you were founded after that date then the book won't have info on it. :)

Speaking of Sigma Kappa history, when are they going to come out with a new edition of a history book? It would sure be nice to have a more recent one than the one that only covers up to the 50's. Wishfull thinking....

Darn. I am with the Gamma Theta Chapter at Cal State Long Beach and I am pretty sure that we were established sometime in the 1980's. RATS!:(

I asked when they were going to come out with a new history book on For Sisters only and got no response.

Chapter founding

DUH! I realized that I was mistakem. My chapter was installed in 1955 I believe. We were closed for a while due to the Vietnam War but we've been active since. If anyone can tell me anything else about Gamma Theta at Cal State Long Beach, I'd be very appreciative.
