What do you call your formal or ball?
 

I posted this in greek life but I wanted to make sure everyone was included in case some people don't read all the forums. Anyway-what do you laides and gentlemen call your formal.

When I'm just chatting about it, I call it "my sorority formal". But...it's called the "White Dove Ball" <--still don't like the name..

Sorry, didn't mean to crash your thread, since I'm not local, but I thought this was a cool topic. We called ours Krystal Kite this year, since the kite is one of our symbols. I'm not sure how much I like that name though. I think other Theta chapters call theirs something nicer.

All ADPi's nationwide call their formal, "Black Diamond Formal" because our pin is a black diamond.

We have a semi formal but our formal is called founders formal and is in second semester because we were founded in second semester.

Man, when I hear all these cute names, I get so jealous! We just call ours "Formal." Simple. Plain. Blah.

Alas, maybe one day it will have a cute name. :)

Back when my chapter was a local sorority, we had a semiformal called "The Heart of a Local Treasure". We were the only local sorority at the time (or since).

Once we went AEPhi, we adopted "Pearl Ball" for our spring formal. The fall semiformal was just the fall semiformal.
