Well, leg one of the trip to State College for the Krazy Kitsos weekend is complete, now it's off to Detroit(hope i don't get mugged on the plane or something), then on to state college.

We lived in The Detroit metro area for five years and never got mugged.

Anyway, as I recall, the airport is in Inkster or somewhere like that, so you'll probably be reasonably safe.

Let me know when you're in State College. I'm only a 1/2 hr away! :)

And while you're there, find out what a "Nitany" (sp?) Lion is. I know, but it's not common knowledge.

I've been in Detroit for 39 years and have never been mugged.

The Detroit airport has my favorite people movers ever and makes up for the fact that I have to go to Detroit. :D

Drove through Detroit once. The traffic on that bridge to Canada sucked. Set us back a few hours.

Next time, I'll damned sure I go through Port Huron on the way to Toronto.

I made it safe and sound.

Kinda remarkable how much more relaxing your landing is when you're landing in 6mph winds vs 25 like my last trip here.

Now it's off to eat and then to go see Velveeta tonight!
