MTV's Real World 10th Anniversary Show
 

I'm so excited.. this is my first new topic post http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif I searched and didn't see anything, so here goes.....
OK...for all you Real World "junkies" like me...
Did anyone see The Real World 10th Anniversary Special last night?
If so, what did you think of it? I was amazed at how different everyone looked. Especially the "old school" New York crew. I'm not crazy about the format they used...there were sooo many cast members that were there that they did not talk to. It would have been interesting to have the "town meeting" format that they use alot. I wanted to see what everyone was doing and how Real World changed their lives. I think Mohammed(from San Fran) surprised me the most!! He's really changed. Puck as usual had to be an a*@! I think his mama didn't pay him the attention he needed as a child... or he was dropped on his head and raised by wolves http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/tongue.gif! I think it is interesting that half the cast members(it seems) have new CD's coming out soon!

te he he! I forgot it came on...oh well, I guess I'll catch it on the re-run tip!

The only reason I watched it last night is because I couldn't take anymore of the comedy show on BET...I had planned to watch BET last night and watch MTV this weekend...although,I should have been studying for my summer school classes. Oh well.....

The special came on two more times today, and I think it's coming on everyday for at least the next week. I watched, but I'm too tired to post all the things I want to talk about right now. I saw it and I thought it was pretty good. Especailly the top ten moments. They could have showed more Kameelah P. *Whew I was crazy about her for a minute didn't miss a Boston Episode for anything* People really did change but that comes with age.

1. Kameelah and Cynthia were still cool as all get-out. Kevin and Cynthia looked like they had a little chemistry there.

2. Puck. What can I say?

4. I'm glad David realized what a bootyhole he was last season. Another victim of the "angry black man" syndrome healed. Flora seemed cooler too.

5. I just flat out love Melissa. If you go to www.princessmelissa.com she rants about some of the same stuff we do here on GC. Plus, I thought her dress was adorable.

6. Syrus has the flattest nose I've ever seen, but something is still sexy about him. I have no idea what.

7. I don't believe Elka is still a virgin. I know, I know.. I don't even know the girl. She just LOOKED like she was lying, though.

8. Since when is Stephen from Seattle a musician??? Dropping an R&B album? When he and David's albums come out, I need to know immediately in order to get the maximum amusement.

It comes on again at 11:30pm edt. Puck needs JESUS, no better yet make that GOD the father. They really have matured and Ruthie looks great, I was happy that she cleaned herself up and hopefully she is staying that way because she has come from a long way. I cannot wait to see the new NY cast when they come on next month I think. I think Puck needs The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost... In fact he might need an exorcism, cuz there's some kinda demon possessing him!!!

I am crackin up! Not only does Syrus have a flat nose, the back of his head is flat as well!! He's not too cute to me though. His cockiness (sp) is a turn off, and from what I saw on RR Boston, he may date a sista here and there, but he prefers the other white meat...

I think that Elka is lying as well, but if she's telling the truth, then more power to her! But IMO, there is no way that her boyfriend is faithful-come on now! He's a (1) rock star (2) not in America, and (3) been with Elka for about 3+ years now, and nothing happened?! I highly doubt that he's being true to her.

I wish that RR would have done a season in either Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Las Vegas or Dallas, but since it's the 10th anniversary, I know that they wanted to bring it back to NY.

Just like MTV, if you miss the 5 time, there are still 20 more times to see it in that week. I saw this morning and was soo shocked at some of the people on there.

They should be having a Real World marathon soon!!

I am also a real world junkie and I am proud of it! The new season starts this Tuesday, 6/26/01 at 9pm est (I think) with the casting special.

I wish that every single member was able to attend and that they had the time for all of them on air (I don't care how long it was, I'd watch it!).

Well, I can't wait for Tuesday. Does anyone know where in NY, they are? Anyway, I'll be glued to someone's MTV (cable's off, I'm moving in a week).
