Clearing sorority letters please review and comment

Greetings everyone.

First off, I want to scrub two Greek letter combinations for the founding of a sorority. Those are as follows:

Tau Sigma Iota

Nu Sigma Iota

My fraternity, Alpha Sigma Chi (ASC) has taken on the task of helping in the founding of a sorority for the same community of interest that ASC serves: intelligence and national security.

Several discussions have taken place about the difficulties of founding a social fraternity with a professional bent that is exclusive to males. ASC always intended to ensure that the opportunity exists for females attending our audience institutions, or employed within our COI to have an equal opportunity.

The solution is that we're going to be partner organizations. We're going to stand up a protal on the web that has information about both GLOs and directs applicants and other interested individuals to either.

Part of the agreement, a welcome part, is that ASC agrees to assist the sorority in meeting all the basic founding requirements - one of which is having a NAME. That's why I've brought these letters here. I've cleared them on the web, at greekpages.com, and everywhere else I could think of.

Please advise if you are aware of any Sorority or co-ed honor society that goes by either of these names: TSI or NSI. I'll be posting this on a couple different forums for widest possible exposure.

Fraternally, D

This part of the post says that he is looking to create an academic honor society/fraternity/whatever for people interested in national security/intelligence

I don't understand how someone can read this thread and not understand that or what the organization is trying to achieve

I don't understand how someone can read this thread and not realize that the person that PJ quoted is not the OP.

NETrySIG89 01-06-2011 01:39 AM

Saying it made sense in 2004 alludes to it not making sense in 2011

Is it serious? Can I play with it?

NETrytothink89, a spammer came into a nearly seven year old thread with a stupid, spammy comment. Since I like to interact with spammers/trolls, like you, I engaged it. The reference to "2004" highlighted the age of the post.

You're scary as hell.

NETrySIG89 01-06-2011 01:47 AM

I'm just sad and feel stupid. I'm leaving greek chat haha. Its been fun guys
