I need some sisterly advice
 

Hey fello gams I am from UNLV and I amd just not feeling the sisterly ness in our chapter. I have kinda been anti this semester is there any advice anyone can give me?? agd03@cox.net

Do you have AOL/Aim? Some of us chat alot, although I know I haven't much lately because I've had this flu/cold thing for 2 weeks.

Hey Jen, I know that not much has been mentioned on this thread... it just happened that two new threads were started along this topic... I would check the other new thread but I'll let you know that sisterhood or that "sisterly" feeling comes and goes. It isn't that the love and bond that we all share isn't still there with you all, it is just that live gets busy and stress takes over... and something falls to the back of the line... this time it just happens to be sisterhood.

In any relationship, extra time needs to be spent replacing that feeling. Maybe you should get together a group or the whole group for a sisterhood night or even an hour. Watch a sisterhood movie and share popcorn or maybe hold a mini-fireside, if you feel that it has gotten to that point. Send notes of inspiration to the chapter members, giving them a special memory to smile over or a word to show your there for them.

We have all said it before, and we will all continue to say it...

Sisterhood is what you put into it. But the big thing is this... just because you've put so much into something, you can't expect to be praised for it or look for an external reward (we had a sister from my chapter do stuff expecting praise and it didn't end well). Just remember all this and things will turn around.
